Next morning, it is sunday, July 25th, I draw the cathedral of Lodève. In the afternoon we make a trip to important sights nearby: the Herault-valley with it’s “Gorges de l’Herault” and the Pilgrim’s village St. Guilhem-le-Désert. The romanesque church of St. Guilhem ist very archaic and beautiful.

We eat in a lovely little restaurant “Le logis des penitents”. On our way back we stop at the old bridge over the Herault, named “Pont de diable”. Impressive.
